UPGRADING YOUR BOATING EXPERIENCE: NEW GADGETS FOR BOATING

New gadgets are continuously upgrading and that it has brought drastic changes in our everyday lives whether it’s for entertainment, information and even transportation. Here are a few gadgets that’ll take your boating experience to the next level.

SEA-TAGS

Sea-tags are smart bracelets that connect to a smartphone. Their function is to send a security alert if something fails. For example, Sea-tags send an alarm to a smartphone if the wearer falls off the boat. Your smartphone will receive the location of the bracelet and the distance from your current position.

DIGI DASHES

Digi dashes are the same as the dashboard camera in cars. High-end Digi dashes feature touchscreens allowing you to operate your boat efficiently while viewing the screen from different angles.

DOKENSIP

Dokenship has colourful sensors that give you data about the boat’s geographical position, temperature and energy levels to your smartphone. An alarm signal is sent to your smartphone if a value falls outside the pre-set parameters.

JOYSTICKS

Joysticks include driving, docking modes and steering components. They provide a perfect balance of rudder angles to help you get more out of your motor.

VENTILATED ROD STORAGE

Ventilated rod storage helps you store your rod in a more open yet secured area. A powered fan encourages airflow. They’re typically timer controlled, so you will not need to waste power unnecessarily. I love gadgets and technology, and getting that on my boat is something that I am always up for. Hopefully, something here has your interest.
