Namadgi National Park makes up roughly 45% of the Australian Capital Territory. Canberra is practically the gateway into over 100,000 hectares of national park.
The southwest of the park joins Kosciuszko National Park and the Bimberi and Scabby Range Nature Reserves with Brindabella National Park on the north-western border. The Bimberi Wilderness covers the south-western section of Namadgi National Park.
Namadgi provides a wide range of recreation experiences including camping, cycling and mountain biking, numerous walking tracks, rock climbing and abseiling. Fishing is possible in some of the mountain streams, and obviously, they’re a huge hit with lovers of fly fishing.
We’re collating our fishing options, accommodation, camping sites and adventure providers of interest so you can make your trip happen.
