FREYCINET

FREYCINET, TASMANIA’S FISHING AND CAMPING PENINSULA

The Freycinet Peninsula is located right in the middle of the east coast of Tasmania. The Freycinet National Park was the first national park to be declared in Tasmania along with Mt Field National Park.

The region is perfect for outdoor adventure and encompasses the village of Coles Bay, the Friendly Beaches Reserve, Wineglass Bay, Dolphin Sands and Honeymoon Bay.

Just south of the National Park is Schouten Island.

Walking tours are just as popular as fishing charters. Accommodation suits all budgets and adventure levels. You’ll find activities from diving and snorkelling for beginners to adventurous multi-day treks.

We’re collating our favourite accommodation, camping, fishing options and more to do.
