The Freycinet Peninsula is located right in the middle of the east coast of Tasmania. The Freycinet National Park was the first national park to be declared in Tasmania along with Mt Field National Park.
The region is perfect for outdoor adventure and encompasses the village of Coles Bay, the Friendly Beaches Reserve, Wineglass Bay, Dolphin Sands and Honeymoon Bay.
Just south of the National Park is Schouten Island.
