ONE DAY BARRAMUNDI TRIP

All tours depart at 5am from Darwin, travel time to your destination is approx 1.5 hours in an Air-conditioned 4WD. After a memorable fishing experience, you will be dropped at at your accommodation in Darwin at around 5pm.

Fishing locations vary depending on Tides and the time of the year of your charter. On Day Trip you will be fishing Darwin Harbor, Bynoe Harbor, Corroborree Billabong or Adelaide River located approx 1.5 hour drive from Darwin. We give our clients the option to catch saltwater or freshwater Barramundi on this trip depending on tide and location. We also let our clients participate in the Million Dollar Fish competition and win exciting prizes.

Extended Darwin Barra Fishing Tours and Bluewater Safaris are designed so our clients can catch and experience the best of all Northern Territory species on offer. These safaris are available all year round with multiple fishing locations.

Location 1: Our clients have the opportunity to fish the Kakadu region for saltwater Barramundi and fish the reefs at the mouth of South and East Alligator rivers for Black Jewfish, Snapper, Threadfin Salmon and Blue Salmon. We also offer our clients the opportunity to fish the unique fresh water billabongs in Kakadu for fresh water Barramundi.

Location 2: Dundee Beach (Fog Bay) extended bluewater and Barra safaris are available throughout the year, where you can fish Surface pelagic, like Grey Mackerel & GTs, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted, Queen Fish, Tuna, Cobia, Barracuda and reef species such as Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Snapper, Jewfish, Cod just to mention a few.

All Barramundi Fishing Darwin tours depart at 5am from Darwin; Travel time is approx 1.5 hours in airconditioned 4WD. On the last day of your tour you will be transferred back to your accommodation in Darwin at 6.30 pm.

Tour includes resort transfers, resort meals/accommodation, morning tea, cold drinks/ refreshments, lunch, and fishing equipment. At the end of the day, you can enjoy a cold drink while you watch a tropical sunset and jump in the pool. Dinner is served at the resort with fresh catch of the day (Fish & Mud crabs) or Kimberly beef Steaks from restaurant Menu.

We also provide our clients with 50% discounted hotel rates in Darwin upon your arrival and departure.

Extended Mother Ship Safaris are designed for fishing enthusiasts to fish around at our remote unexplored rivers and experience Barramundi fishing with our professional Darwin Barramundi fishing charters.

We offer Live aboard Mother ship safaris at Mini Mini system/Marry River, Moyle River/Little Moyle River, Anson bay Creeks & many more. Our extended mother ship safaris are operational during the month of Feb/Mar/Apr/May which coincides with the “RUN OFF” Period and during Sep/Oct/Nov which coincides with “BUILD UP” for wet season

RUN OFF period, this time of the year, the wet season monsoon rains are over and the fresh water goes over the wetlands, to bring a lot of food into the main river for the hungry Barra. You will experience substantial fishing during the RUN OFF period. Also, this period is ideal for executing Million Dollar Fish event.

BUILD UP period, this time of year all big barramundi gather in numbers at the mouth of our favorite rivers such as Moyle & little Moyle and get ready for spawning season.

Our extended Mother ship safaris depart from Cullen Bay Darwin at approximately 16:00 hrs, Once on the move our clients enjoy a cold beer and watch out territory sunset during Dinner, at first light ( 0600am) we are at our destination ready to experience best Barramundi fishing on offer. Travel time to our destination vary due to location however we allow approx 14 hrs of travel during the night. On the last day of our safari we depart at approx 18:00 hrs and arrive back to Darwin at 08.00am

During this trip you will also experience reef fishing where we target our powerful Black Jewfish, Salmon and Snapper. Mother ship safaris are ideal for fishing remote locations of the territory with minimum travel everyday.

Our new and most popular tours to Kimberly region, Ord River, King George River, Berkeley River, remote islands offshore and Million Dollar Fish competition are the most exiting fishing tours on offer. We offer these tours during the month Sept/Oct/Nov during the build up season when big barramundi gather at the mouth of these river getting ready to spawn. Fishing is simply fantastic.

Our clients fly to Berkeley River by sea plane from Kununurra, a short 01.30 minutes flight; clients are picked up by the guides and are welcomed on the mother ship.

Once on board our clients experience explosive big barramundi sessions right at there door step. These tours are tailormade and can accommodate up to 9 clients.

We target the mighty Barramundi and a variety of other saltwater sport fish including Black Jewfish, Tuna, Golden Snapper, Trevally, Spanish & Spotted Mackerel, Coral Trout, GTs, Queen Fish, Threadfin Salmon and more.

A wonderful experience for fishing enthusiasts! Extended Mother ship Safaris are specifically designed to provide the best fishing experience for keen anglers who aim to fish around for big Barramundi so as to join the METER CLUB. Operational throughout the year, the best time for fishing is Sept/Oct/Nov prior to monsoonal wet “Buildup” and post monsoonal wet “Run off” that is March/April/May.

After going through these tours, you will certainly have a memorable experience to share. These locations are famous worldwide for their spectacular wilderness, while the Darwin Barramundi fishing experience is something you can’t forget.

Extended safaris set off from Darwin (Cullen Bay) at around 14:00 and arrive at the remote location the next morning before sunrise. Barramundi Fishing Tours offer luxury accommodation in the Mother ship, with all types of amenities. The tour also entails black Jewfish, blue water fishing and Snapper fishing.

TOP END FISHING AT OUR REMOTE CAMP FISHING (MINI MINI & COBOURG)
Spring Tide Safaris offers Chartered tours to our Remote camp located at Mini Mini (Cobourg Peninsula) just outside of Kakadu National Park.

The Mini Mini system is located at the southern side of Cobourg Peninsula and remains one of the most remote fishing location in the territory. We provide our clients with an opportunity to fish and stay on aboriginal land with permission/permits from traditional land owners.

These safaris are best designed for keen anglers who experience best lure fishing on offer in the territory. Tours are organised to your remote camp with a short 40 minutes flight from Darwin Airport, or by road 4wd access, which takes approx 6 hours.

Target Species: Barramundi, Black Jewfish, Snapper, Threadfin & Blue Salmon, Queen fish, GT’s and Mud Crabs.

Inclusive in Price:
Tour includes Remote Camp Accommodation /permits/All meals/ transfers and all fishing equipment. Cost is subject to change with flight options etc.

Cost: Extended 04 day safari $4570.00 per person.

Payments

A 20% deposit is required within 7 days of booking to confirm your place.
For extended charters balance of payment is required at least 1 month prior to departure.

Booking Conditions

Cancellation fees do apply and a 100% cancellation fee applies if fail to board.
30 days or more prior to departure: 20% cancellation fee.
30-10 days prior to departure: 50% cancellation fee.
Within 10 days to departure: 100% cancellation fee.
Bag limits and restrictions do apply in Northern Territory.
Participants must be in good physical and mental health. Spring tide safaris reserves the right to decline to accept any person as a member of a tour or require any participant to withdraw from a tour at anytime if to do so is determined by Spring tide safaris to be in the best interests of the group or the individual participant.
In relation to insurance, no responsibility will be accepted for accidents, illness or misadventure or loss of goods or possessions and it is recommended that adequate insurance be taken out to cover you against the above.
