EASY FOIL PACKET RECIPES

Foil packet cooking is perfect for cooking on the coals of a campfire but don’t think it has to stop there. These recipes can be cooked on the grill or in the oven. The best thing about cooking with foil packets is the fact that you don’t have to clean up afterwards.

Mix these recipes up and adjust to your own taste.

CLASSIC HAMBURGER

500gms ground beef
½ can of mixed vegetables
½ can of cream of mushroom soup
Spices and seasonings

Mix all these ingredients with the spices of your choice. The tent foil pack works best for this recipe. Cook on the grill, in the oven or place on hot coals for about 25 minutes.

SAUSAGES AND EGGS

1 frozen hash brown patty
2 eggs, scrambled, uncooked
2 frozen sausages
Spices and seasonings
Cheese, if you want

Wrap these ingredients in your tent foil pack and cook for about 15 minutes or 10 minutes if your sausages are not frozen. Add cheese once cooked when serving.

CHICKEN CASSEROLE

1 chicken breast
1 cup of broccoli
1/2 cup of prepared rice
1 can of cream of chicken soup
Ranch dressing
Cheddar cheese
Spices

Cut your chicken in pieces to make sure it cooks properly. Mix in all your ingredients and use the tent foil pack again for this one. Cook for 25 minutes.

CATCH OF THE DAY

Fish that you caught that day
1/4 cup of onions
1 tablespoon of butter, melted
Lemon juice
Salt and pepper
Parsley
Dillweed
Paprika

Place your onions down first and lay your fish fillets on top. Pour on melted butter with your spices mixed in (except the paprika). Sprinkle on the paprika. You can use the flat pack or the tent foil pack for this one. Cook for about 15 minutes. Squeeze on a little more lemon when serving.

These are basic recipes you can adjust to your liking.
