You have varied food options to bring when you’re going camping which will usually include food cooked by fire.

BAPORK

Grill your pork any way you want. Whether you put it on a stick or grill it as it is, it will surely taste good especially when cooked over fire. Don’t forget to marinate your meat and the smoke will add flavour to your barbecue.

BEEF STEAK

Steaks are for grilling over an open flame, and tastes good especially when paired with a variety of salads and side dishes. Marinate your steak with your favourite seasoning then cook it over the campfire. Once done, let it sit before cutting and serving.

GRILLED FISH

Grilled fish is a staple when camping and is very basic. This is, in fact, one of the easiest camping food to prepare for camp. You must use fresh fish as it always tastes better.

CAMPFIRE PIZZA

Who says you can’t have a pizza while camping? Campfire pizzas are easy to make, but first, you must pack your ingredients beforehand. You’ll need a pita bread, pizza sauce and your chosen toppings. Spread the pizza sauce on your pita bread and sprinkle with desired toppings. Fold foil three times and slide the pizza, then cook it on the campfire grill until the cheese melts.

TOASTED MARSHMALLOWS

Toasting a marshmallow by the campfire are just one of the most convenient thing to do when you’re camping. Toasted marshmallows are simple to make, just thread them on a stick and let the fire cook until the marshmallow are toasty brown. Everyone loves marshmallows cooked on fire.

CHOCOLATE BANANAS

Chocolate bananas are simple yet delicious dessert. Take a banana and cut it in half lengthwise and leave the skin. Insert pieces of chocolate that’ll fit in the banana, then wrap it in a foil. Cook it over hot coals, until chocolate melts and the banana is soft.

HOT CHOCOLATE

Aside from drinking the usual chocolate branded drink, why not create something from scratch? You need one cup of milk, one tablespoon each of honey, cinnamon sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract. Then, of course, dark brown chocolates broken into squares. Put all ingredients in a small saucepan then whisk it slowly overheat fire until chocolate dissolves.
